Every child
deserves a pathway without limits
Every child carries strengths – the spark of curiosity, the ability to think critically, the joy that turns into purposeful learning with others. Yet most schools approach these strengths as separate from academic success, when in fact, they are the right ingredients to influence high-quality learning and opportunity.
At Oluko Learning, we provide students, educators, and families the richest possible picture of growth and development through New Insights, a comprehensive program that captures and develops over 30 skills to uncover each learner's maximum potential and power academic success.
A kid who loves asking questions may be told to “stay on task” until they stop wondering.
A natural leader in weekend soccer games may never see that talent recognized in class.
A bright student who struggles on timed tests may quietly give up, not because they can’t do the work, but because they no longer believe they meet abstract expectations.
Oluko is changing that
Qualities – 30+ skills like motivation, curiosity, collaboration, and critical thinking – are a part of every learner's DNA, the underlying code, along with an exposure to a rich core curriculum, that is important for long-term success. Research shows they are strong predictors of who thrives in school – and beyond. But when these skills are overlooked, engagement fades, gaps widen, and untapped potential is lost. Too many learners are left behind – not for lack of ability, but because their strengths remain invisible in a system that doesn’t recognize them.
We’ve developed New Insights, a companion to each educator and learner that serves as a guide for learning and development from kindergarten to post-secondary success. As playful as it is responsive, it provides educators with the information to support every learner and gives learners the opportunity to engineer a map for how they wish to tackle their academic success. It gives educators practical tools – asset-based visuals, strategies tied to standards, and clear insights into each learner’s strengths – so that learning feels connected and personal.
Already, more than 10,000 learners and their educators have experienced what it means to be known in this new way. The results are powerful: students feel known and motivated, teachers gain strategies they can use at the moment of instruction, and schools gain a clearer picture of how to help every learner thrive.
“At the end of the day, everyone wants to be known at some level.”
